My LifeBook is now on steroids!

The 1 GB RAM upgrade is complete! Two screws, two clips, 1 minute expended, job done. I haven't noticed any massive performance gain but am yet to fire up a bunch of apps at the same time.

Now to source a USB DVD drive so I can install Vista and the real test will begin.

Still waiting for that RAM...

Well my RAM has shipped but sadly, according to the tracking website, it's been onboard with the courier all day!

So much for upgrading to 1GB's worth of goodness this weekend. I guess the courier's taking the scenic route.

Talk about a slow start...

Yes, I've been slack. This blogging bug is yet to kick in.

I recently purchased a Fujitsu LifeBook P1510 from Hugo at TegaTech and it is proving to be a great tool around the office and home. I plan to post a list of all the utilities, tips & tricks, and sites that I've found useful, so watch this space if you have a P1510 or are considering buying one.

I've read that Vista runs faster than XP on the P1510 so as soon as my 1GB RAM upgrade arrives, I'll be installing Vista RC2 to test it out.

And so it begins...
